Camps and Playgrounds

Summer Playgrounds

Join the kids of your community for supervised games, special events, arts, crafts, and trips. Program opens in June 10 – July 26 and runs 6-weeks. We are closed the week of July 1 – 5 for the holiday. Camps are open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to noon.

Programs are held at the following Parks:

  • Adams-Ricci Park (Commonwealth Pavilion) for ages 6-9 yrs
  • Adams-Ricci Park (Keystone Pavilion) for ages 10-12 yrs
  • Midway Park (behind Township Building) for ages 6-12 yrs
*The playground program is available to Township Children ages 6 -12 years only. Playground leaders conduct a variety of recreational activities and special events in neighborhood playgrounds throughout the summer. A one-time registration fee of $20 is required to participate. Our calendar of activities and weekly field trips will be available online and at the Township Building. Registration applications may only be obtained from the counselors the first day of attendance.

Summer Day Camp

SummerPlayground250a Our popular Summer Day Camp activities include weekly trips, arts & crafts, indoor and outdoor sports, games and themed events. Campers must have completed Kindergarten through 8th grade (separated for field trips and while at Adams-Ricci by Elementary and Middle School groups). 2019 Dates are June 10 – August 9. Partial payments will only be accepted when registering in person at the Recreation Department. The registration fee, full first week payment plus half of each subsequent week.
