East Pennsboro Township Authority wishes to notify residents that the Edenderry Way Culvert Replacement Project is set to begin on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. The roadway is expected to be shut down for the duration of the pipe replacement.
The roadway will close on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 and reopen by Monday, October 18, 2021.
This project was a necessity due to a large, 60-inch corrugated metal pipe that was failing underneath Edenderry Way, causing the sidewalk and roadway to begin to sink down the hillside. The faulty pipe will be replaced with 60-inch smooth-lined corrugated plastic pipe, as well as a headwall and end wall, which are significantly more durable.
Residents and motorists are reminded to avoid Edenderry Way between Logans Run and Susan Circle. It is closed to through traffic. Local residents are still able to access their homes on Edenderry Way for the duration of the project. The roadway is anticipated to be reopened to the general public around Monday, October 18, 2021.
